Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Konvo app and website (the “Service”) provided by KongNetwork Co., Ltd. (“Konvo”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Konvo captures meeting audio to provide real-time transcription, translation, summaries, and answer suggestions. Features and limits may change over time.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, verify your email, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Credits, billing & payments
- The Service runs on credits. Credits are consumed based on the minutes you transcribe and the AI features you use.
- Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller for purchases.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
4. Recording consent & acceptable use
You are solely responsible for using Konvo lawfully. Recording, transcribing, or translating conversations may be regulated where you live. You agree to:
- Obtain any consent required from all participants before recording or transcribing a conversation;
- Comply with all applicable wiretapping, privacy, and data-protection laws;
- Not use the Service for any unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing purpose, or to gain an unfair or prohibited advantage in violation of any third party’s rules or policies;
- Not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service, or exceed its rate limits.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. AI output
Transcriptions, translations, summaries, and suggestions are generated by automated systems and may contain errors. They are provided for convenience only and are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of your transcripts and content. You grant us the limited rights needed to process and deliver the Service (e.g., sending audio to our speech provider and text to our AI provider). We do not claim ownership of your meeting content.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or to copy the Service.
8. Third-party services
The Service integrates third-party providers (e.g., Deepgram, OpenAI, Paddle). Your use may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with law. Unused credits may be forfeited upon termination for cause.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date; continued use means you accept the changes.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
