Konvo vs Fathom
Fathom gives away unlimited recording and transcription. That’s a strong free tier, so most of this page is about when you shouldn’t pay us.
If your meetings happen in a language you already speak, use Fathom free. If they don’t, Fathom won’t fix that at any price.

When to pick Fathom instead
- All your meetings run in a language you speak well. Fathom free is very good and costs nothing.
- You want unlimited recording without watching a usage meter.
- Shared team notes and CRM handoff matter more to you than translation.
Questions we get
Fathom is free. Why would I pay for Konvo?
One reason: language. Fathom will transcribe and summarise a meeting well, in whatever language it was held in. What it won’t do is let you follow along in your own language while the meeting is running, or speak your reply back in theirs. If that isn’t your problem, Fathom free is the better deal and you should take it.
Can I use both?
Yes. Konvo doesn’t join the call, so it won’t clash with a bot-based tool. Running two AI notetakers on one meeting mostly gets you two summaries of the same thing.
Try it on your next meeting
~1 hour free, no card needed. After that, $9/month for ~25 hours.
