Konvo vs Mirai Translation

Mirai Translation built its meeting product for Japanese companies: domestic servers, a Japanese contract, one flat fee for everyone. The two tools barely compete. This page is about which side of the line you’re on.

Mirai is the right answer for a Japanese company with compliance requirements and a few hundred staff. Konvo is the right answer for one person with a credit card.

Questions we get

How much does Mirai’s Listening Assistant cost?
The published plan is ¥150,000 a month, with usage and the number of IDs both unlimited. Other arrangements are available on request. It’s an enterprise contract, so there’s no individual plan.
Does Konvo keep my data in Japan?
No. Transcripts are stored on your own device and never uploaded to us, but audio is streamed to Deepgram for speech-to-text and text goes to OpenAI, with Google Gemini on standby. If domestic data residency is a hard requirement, Mirai is built for that and we aren’t.
Which is cheaper for a small team?
Konvo, by a wide margin. Five people cost $45 a month against ¥150,000. The maths flips the other way once you’re deploying to a large workforce, because Mirai’s fee doesn’t move with headcount.
